After a Very great announcement from VU and a very great step, read this
http://vusr.org/forum/index.php?topic=31.0

There are some tips VUSR wants to give the users of VUSR.

SELECT The Paper First That you seems to be most difficult
You should select the paper of the subject as your first paper which you find most difficult. By this way you can easily manage and have a lot of time to prepare it. This is very helpful for a better grade in that subject.

Don't have more then 2 leaves from the exam
You should not take more then two leaves in between two papers. By this way you will be able to continue yourself busy in prepration of the exams. If you have more then two leaves in your each paper, then there will be two factors that will affect your studies
1- The Exam Duration will become large so that you will feel it bit tight period
2- You will be more free to have some extra activities which will make you Dont Study

Try to make your papers such that There will be a mix of Theory and Practical
In our tips for Selecting Courses for the Semester, we have asked the students to select a mix of subjects of theory and Practical. Now, in exam, this statement is too true. you should select a mix of both theory and Practical exams by this you will feel easy when you go to exam

More will be soon

Tips for VU Studies

Students always behind due to lake of guideline in their studies. VU have posted his guideline about studying at VU to get maximum CGPA in the courses.

Now, VUSR is going to have some tips for VU Students so that they can get much use of their knowledge which will help in their professional life.

We all know that studies of VU are distance based studies. These studies are different from the studies provided by the other Distance Based Institutes such as AIOU. VU is delivering their lectures via a satellite system which enable the students to get online lectures which others are lacking. VU have its own MDB for each course, which is a very great source to get the information you are lacking or not understanding well. On MDB, you can post the questions regarding the current lectures and get the solutions in the coming day. This is a very great service of VU for the students. But unfortunately, VU Students hardly use this service which is not good for them at all.

VU Students have to pay extra attention in their studies as they are online reader/learner. In this type of learning, students have to make their self's for reading, practicing their knowledge and self testing of their knowledge. this is very difficult task but it could be challenged in a very effective way and can be transformed into a source of rich information. A short but effective planning can make your studies very productive and effective. In the planning process, you as a student, have to put your attention on your studies rather then useless extra activities. Try to plan your resources and available time in such a manner that you loss very low and gain very high. Your planning of time must be based on the resources that you have.

For example, in the present time, in the country, there is a current shortage. While planning your time, you should consider your timing of electricity availability. You have to plan in such a way that when it is available, then all the task that are computer based must be performed one by one and when it is not-available, then all that could be performed without it such as reading handouts, books and printed papers, solving your assignment tasks etc.

Well planning will boost your final goal's results. So this is very important part of your studies. There is a tip while you choose your study course. You must classify your semester course in such a way that you have a balance in your course based on computer-based and non-computer based studies. In computer based, you need more time to study, understand and practice then non-computer based studies.

All VU course have at most three lectures in a week. Which enable the students to understand the topics discussed in a well manner. In a week, there are seven days and there are total 18 lectures for 6 courses. And to well understand a topic or lecture, this time is very enough. You have total number of 24x7 = 168-42-14=112 hours in week for study and 6.22 hours for each lecture which is very enough for a lecture.

With better time management, you can enhance your studies. Time is very important in your life. So, you should care it. Well prepared persons always get respect, so you should be always prepared in all aspects of your life.
